WE REMEMBER JOHN AND SEND OUR LOVE TO JOHN AND YOKO

ON THIS DAY, DECEMBER 8, 2010
"Blessings and Beauty to us all
I hear John's Voice in the wind
up in heaven and against the wall
John and Yoko forever in Soul
as we hear John's voice in the wind"
(words by paneagle)
THE MUSICIANS LEGACY
One must also take notice the deaths of the many great artists and musicians in our times. The who's who of modern music, John Lennon, Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Ricky Nelson, Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley, Sam Cooke, and Martin Luther King, Abraham Lincoln, Bobby Kennedy, JFK, and so many others who died young and left us "The Song". It is the sound that is life, and so they all lived in its name.
PUBLIC DEATH
Public death of John Lennon was perhaps the most emphatic of all. Society is probably much at fault. The human consciousness surely still in survival mode, taking what it wants, not giving in return to Earth or each other, and a civilization built on money, greed, self-interest all play a role, including the religious righteousness (such as when John said the Beatles were more popular than Jesus) and military power and economic co-dependence. John Lennon stood up, often alone, against these things and media manipulation, even as he lived with it or upon it, and tried to show its best side.
